100 Won Event Mole Removal, Spot Removal, Raised Mole Removal
At Kkeuthan Clinic Suwon Ingye branch, moles are precisely removed using an Er:YAG laser. The Er:YAG laser causes less thermal damage and has superior ablative power compared to CO₂ lasers, minimizing unnecessary skin surface damage, redness, and the risk of long-term scarring. By adjusting the irradiation intensity and frequency according to the size and depth of the mole, it is possible to meticulously remove everything from small moles under 2mm to raised moles, reducing unnecessary damage to surrounding tissues, leading to faster recovery and maintaining a smooth skin texture. Furthermore, through pre and post-procedure skin care guidance, we reduce the possibility of recurrence and minimize pigmentation, completing a cleaner and more natural skin. * VAT not included

Kkeuthan Clinic Mole Removal
Moles are one of the lesions that occur when melanin pigment cells abnormally increase in number in the epidermis or dermis layers of the skin.
Although they may appear to be ordinary hyperpigmentation, the treatment method can vary depending on the location and depth of the mole.
Erbium YAG laser is effective in precisely refining the shallow layers of the skin. This allows for the delicate removal of superficial moles in the epidermis without damaging the surrounding skin.
This procedure can reduce the burden of scar formation while offering cosmetic improvement. It can be particularly useful for mole removal on the face. An additional process using a CO2 laser to cauterize the root of the mole with heat can help reduce the possibility of recurrence by removing melanin cells that may remain deep in the skin. This can contribute to reducing the risk of what is known as 'recurrent moles,' which reappear because the surface was removed but the root remained.
In particular, a finishing procedure using a CO2 laser can be considered in the following cases:
When a mole is slightly raised or feels thick to the touch.
If you have experienced a mole reappearing in the same area previously.
If it is determined to be a nevus located deep in the dermis (e.g., blue moles, grayish-brown moles, etc.).
Regarding DuoDERM Application Period After Mole Removal
Managing the treated area in a moist environment is important to aid skin recovery and reduce scar formation.
Therefore, applying and managing the area with DuoDERM, a hydrocolloid dressing, may be recommended.
DuoDERM can help aid the skin cell regeneration process and reduce the likelihood of scar formation.
Immediately after mole removal, apply DuoDERM and it is best not to remove it unless it fills with exudate and falls off naturally. It is recommended to keep it applied for at least 7 days.
The total management period is approximately 10 days.
If DuoDERM use is uncomfortable or an allergic reaction occurs, regenerative cream or moisturizing gel should be applied frequently to prevent the skin from drying out.
Additionally, it is necessary to diligently apply sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher and manage the treated area carefully, avoiding touching it.
Post-mole removal care is an important step that goes beyond simply protecting the wound and can significantly affect satisfaction with the procedure.
Negligent care can lead to scarring, so it's important to continue diligent care even after the procedure.
At Kkeuthan Clinic, we provide detailed explanations of post-procedure care methods to help patients with a smooth recovery.
