Glutathione Whitening Treatment (Known as 'IU Shot') + LED (Brightening) + Jaun-Go Modeling Pack
“A glutathione brightening treatment that pushes directly into the deep layers of the skin with electric current, making it brighter from within, rather than consuming it orally.”

Glutathione Whitening Treatment, also known as IU Shot What is Glutathione? Glutathione is a representative antioxidant substance abundantly present in our body's liver, kidneys, brain, etc. It plays an important role in anti-aging and cell protection by removing reactive oxygen species (ROS) to reduce cell damage and reactivating other antioxidants (such as vitamins C, E). Skin Brightening Benefits of Glutathione Beyond simple antioxidant activity, glutathione plays a role in making skin tone clear and even. Tyrosinase Inhibition: It inhibits the action of tyrosinase, an enzyme that produces melanin, thereby preventing excessive pigment production. Melanin Conversion Effect: Instead of dark, concentrated eumelanin, it promotes the production of relatively brighter pheomelanin, helping the skin tone appear lighter. Pigment Inhibition by Antioxidant Action: Reactive oxygen species generated by UV radiation, heat, or inflammatory reactions stimulate melanin production, but glutathione removes them, thereby inhibiting pigment formation itself. Synergy with Vitamin C: Vitamin C reactivates oxidized glutathione, and glutathione, in turn, inhibits melanin synthesis, forming a powerful brightening network. In summary: Glutathione inhibits melanin and promotes a relatively brighter melanin pathway, contributing to natural and even skin tone improvement. Why should you get Glutathione treatment at Kkeut Clinic? Many people may have encountered glutathione orally or through injections. However, these methods have clear limitations. Limitations of Oral (Ingested) Glutathione: The gastrointestinal absorption rate is low, and most of it is metabolized in the liver, so the amount that actually reaches the skin is extremely limited. This is why “eating it doesn't immediately brighten your skin.” Disadvantages of Intravenous Injections: Since it spreads throughout the body, it is difficult to concentrate on the desired area. While it can be beneficial for liver or systemic antioxidant effects, it is less targeted for improving facial pigmentation and skin tone. Kkeut Clinic's Differentiated Approach Application of Iontophoresis: Utilizes electric current to directly deliver glutathione past the skin barrier to the dermal layer, overcoming the disadvantages of both oral intake and injections simultaneously. Targeted Area Application: Instead of being dispersed throughout the body, it is concentratedly absorbed into the facial skin where pigmentation and tone improvement are needed. Use of Undiluted Solution: We do not compromise on efficacy. We use 100% undiluted ampoules without dilution, maximizing glutathione's antioxidant and brightening effects. At Kkeut Clinic, we design glutathione care with the philosophy of “direct treatment over oral intake, and more targeted management than injections.” Why should it be absorbed via Iontophoresis? Limitations of Oral Glutathione: Absorption in the gastrointestinal tract is inconsistent, and it is metabolized in the liver, making it difficult for sufficient amounts to reach the skin. Limitations of Simple Topical Application: The stratum corneum on the skin surface acts as a strong barrier, making it difficult for water-soluble ingredients like glutathione to penetrate deeply. Advantages of Iontophoresis: Electrical Repulsion Effect: Negatively charged glutathione is pushed by electric current to cross the skin barrier. Electro-osmotic Effect: Creates a subtle fluid flow, widening the absorption pathway for ingredients. Deep Layer Access: It's not just a superficial treatment; active ingredients can be delivered to layers closer to the dermis. In other words, iontophoresis is the method of absorption that is “more direct than oral intake, and deeper than topical application.” Treatment Cycle and Recommended Sessions Cycle: 1-week interval Recommended Sessions: A minimum of 5 sessions or more is consistently recommended. Maintenance: Regular supplementary treatments help maintain stable skin tone.
